Controller - Property Job Description Our client, a leading real estate firm, is looking for a Controller for the Toronto office. This organization has grown rapidly and is looking for key players to grow with them. In this role you will report directly to the VP Finance and be responsible for the financial operations for all Toronto properties. Using strong understanding of property reporting issues, the role involves overseeing the preparation of financial results, internal controls, budgeting, cash management and reporting. In this highly visible role, taking a proactive approach in process improvement, implementations and SOX is integral. The role requires a strong manager to train and mentor staff. Property or real estate experience is a must for this role. Canadian designation (CA, CMA or CGA) is also required. A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience is required, including at least 3+ years of management.
