General Accountant Job Description Our client in North Toronto, is looking for a General Accountant. This role is starting off as a temporary contract with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. This organization has grown exponentially over the past 2 years and is looking for team member that thrive in a fast paced environment. Working with a tight-knit accounting team, you will be surrounded by the best! This is a new role reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Job duties include: journal entries, bank reconciliations, GL account reconciliations, expense analysis, basic reporting and full cycle AP for a small US subsidiary. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a junior – intermediate accounting role performing similar job duties. An accounting diploma or degree is required for the role. Intermediate Excel skills are required. Work experience with Simply Accounting would be an asset.
