Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description Our client, a large investment firm downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. In addition to traditional AP duties such as invoice processing and performing cheque runs, this role has a great deal of project work. Typical duties include: expense tracking, approving advances, journal entries into GL, researching missing documentation, monitoring cash flow, account reconciliations, back reconciliations, expense reporting, capital asset reporting and helping budget team with analysis. Applicants should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a full cycle AP role. An accounting diploma or degree is required for the role. Active enrolment in a Canadian accounting designation (CGA or CMA) is required, ideally in later stages. Strong technical skills and love for systems is required for role. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are required. Experience with a large EFP system is required, but experience with Orace or Cognos would be an asset.
